Welcome to Grey Matters, the blog designed to keep you informed of everything you need to know about your brain and how you can keep it healthy.
My name is Dr David Lewis and I am the contributing editor of Grey Matters. Over the coming months and hopefully years myself and the Grey Matters team will be publishing our research and findings into brain health.
My research and clinical experience, over the past twenty years, has convinced me that the only way to help preserve mind and body effectively is by adopting a broad and holistic approach to combat ageing this view will determine the information provided in Grey Matters.
Who is our blog aimed at?
The answer is almost everybody concerned to enjoy maximum well-being for the longest possible period of time.
If you are forty-five or older and have, perhaps, allowed yourself to get into a less than ideal mental and physical condition in recent years please do not despair.
The good news is that it is never too late to bring about the health-promoting changes that will strengthen your body's own inbuilt powers of regeneration.
If you are still in good shape or in a younger age group then now is an ideal time to start working your mental muscles out in the Brain Gym. The Grey Matters team have developed a brain age tests that you can try for Free by clicking here.
Some of what you will read in Grey Matters may strike you as little more than commonsense. Unfortunately, however, when it comes to taking care of our health such commonsense is often in very short supply!
P.S Don't forget to try our Free Brain Age Test!
